They say it's the Greatest Show on Earth. I've never been to the circus so I couldn't really say. But Lilian and I did go to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey circus parade this morning. It's a grand old tradition of trotting out the clowns and elephants in each new town on the tour...giving people a sneak peak of the fun to be had.

Wow. The elephants were so close! Much closer than you get at the zoo. Very fun. I've never been to the circus either. Maybe we were just deprived when we were little. :-) That's something that always sounded like fun but I didn't want to pay or deal with the crowds so we stayed away.
I am jealous! I really wanted to take the kids but I guess school really is more important. Maybe one of these years they will be off track.
