Before and After...

Remember this lovely little accident we had a month ago where our truck met the garage door...and then the back wall...VERY FORCEFULLY??

I've been driving a Dodge Durrango for the past 4 weeks...and as fancy as that Durrango was, I've been missing my sweet truck immensely.  Today we got the call that the truck was ready and waiting.  I seriously almost cried when I climbed in the drivers seat. 

 For the past month we've had a wind tunnel through our garage.  Because the garage door was a custom order, it took quite awhile to get it delivered.  And it took time to get an estimate on the work involved and approval from the insurance.  Earlier this week I was quite delighted, groggy from a nasty cold regardless, to wake up to constant and loud pounding coming from my garage two mornings in a row.

The wall still needs sheetrock and paint, but having no gaping hole and piles of junk is nice.  And hey, an extra bonus...a window!

 The door is installed...it goes up and down and everything!  Just waiting for paint...

The exterior wall is also waiting for paint.  But I have to say, I like this look better than the one with a truck hanging out...
